Ferry company also to sell oil products

Indonesia’s PT Angkutan Sungai Danau dan Penyeberangan (ASDP), the state ferry company, has planned to jump into oil distribution for ships with the monthly revenue target of 500 million rupiah (US$53, 450). The Commercial Director of PT ASDP Johan Iskandar said that the company has secured the basic license from PT Pertamina to distribute petroleum products. Johan is optimistic the special gas station will attract ferries operator as the offered price is competitive. The gas station will be able to meet the needs of 15-20 units of ferries in the area, which consume 120 kiloliters per day. (July 27, 2007)
