ExxonMobil to boost capacity at Birkenhead terminal
ExxonMobil Australia Pty Ltd. said it will increase the storage facility at the Birkenhead fuel terminal which is owned jointly by Mobil and Shell. The company will construct a new nine million liter diesel fuel tank. The addition of the new tank will increase the storage capacity of the terminal by more than 10%. The Birkenhead terminal at Adelaide is operated by Mobil and is one of the company’s three main fuel distribution terminals in Southeastern Australia. Construction is estimated to take approximately 12 months to complete. (June 23,2011)
