Essar Oil to reopen fuel outlets

Indiaโ€™s Essar Oil, the second-largest private fuel retailer in the country, will reopen all its 1,250 outlets by January. “We have already made operational 830 gasoline pumps so far,” an Essar Oil spokesperson said. Now that the margins on petrol and diesel fuel have turned positive after a steep fall in global crude oil prices, the company has started opening its retail outlets. “We reopened around 600 gasoline pumps when the crude prices started softening,” the spokesperson added.
