ENOC plans to launch self-service in ENOC/EPPCO stations

Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC), which is owned by the Dubai government, is looking at launching a self-service option at all ENOC/Emirates Petroleum Products Company (EPPCO) network stations. The plan is to initially launch self-service at stations that are open late at night and early in the morning.
“We are evaluating the option of introducing self-service as a new customer-focused initiative to provide our customers the opportunity to [familiarize] with the concept,” said Burhan Al Hashemi, managing director of ENOC Retail.
He further said that the self-service concept is well accepted in several countries, and the company is trying to introduce best international practices to its network. (February 21, 2013)
