ENOC inaugurates lubricants and grease plant in Fujairah

Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC) inaugurated on March 12 its advanced lubricants and grease plant in the Fujairah Port, one of the world’s top three ports in bunker fuel supplies and marine vessels transit. Spread over an area of 63,500 square meters, the plant has an annual blending capacity of 100,000 metric tons (MT) of mineral and synthetic lubricating oils and 5,000 MT of lubricating grease. With the completion of Phase II, Phase III and Phase IV in 2012, 2013 and 2014, respectively, ENOC will have a total capacity of more than 250,000 MT of lubricants and greases. The plant complements the industrial expansion drive of Fujairah, using the latest blending technology and equipment. Established in 1993 as a wholly-owned company of the Government of Dubai, ENOC aims to promote the interests of its shareholders through the development of further downstream and upstream activities in the oil and gas sector and beyond, and to encourage the economic diversification of Dubai and the rest of the UAE.
