Eastern Petroleum continues expansion
Philippine oil company Eastern Petroleum Corp. (EPC) opened its first station in the southern island group of Mindanao on May 14. The 1,800 square meter three-island gasoline station in Polomolok, South Cotabato will supply the needs of motorists in the town and neighboring municipalities, said EPC chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Fernando Martinez. EPC had earlier become the first independent oil company to operate a fuel depot in General Santos City, South Cotabato. The oil company said it is aiming to expand its facilities in Mindanao and is eyeing a “mega station” in General Santos City within the year, which is planned to become a one-stop shop for car owners.
