DuPont opens PV technical center in Shanghai
DuPont has opened a new photovoltaic (PV) technical center at its global R&D Center in Zhanggjiang Hightech Park, Pudong, a technical park dedicated to high-tech start-ups and research organizations in Shanghai. The new PV facility contains three labs and provides integrated research, development and technical support for customers within the PV industry in China. DuPont expects to nearly triple its annual photovoltaic sales to more than US$1 billion in 2012. DuPont supplies materials and technology to the photovoltaic industry, with more than 25 years of experience in photovoltaic materials development and manufacturing. In addition to solar, DuPont provides key innovative products for the wind, biofuels and fuel cells industries that advance energy efficiency and deliver alternative energy sources. (May 5, 2009)
