DMCI to build elevated railway project in Manila
Philippine energy and infrastructure conglomerate DMCI Holdings Inc. said its unit D.M. Consunji Inc. and partner First-Balfour Inc. have been awarded a contract worth Php3.6 billion (US$79.5 million) to design and construct an elevated railway in the nation’s capital. The project involves the construction of a 5.2-kilometer railway that will connect the existing LRT 1 and MRT 3 elevated railways in metropolitan Manila, DMCI told the stock exchange.
