DMC to start to build US$4.7 million additive plant
PetroVietnam Drilling Mud Joint Stock Corp.(DMC), an affiliate of the state-run Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam), plans to start building an additive production plant costing VND90 billion (US$4.7 million) in the central province of Quang Ngai. The plant, which will produce denatured starch, a special additive for the oil refinery industry, will be built on a 31,812-square-meter area in Binh Thanh commune, Binh Son district, the state-run Vietnam News Agency said. DMC specializes in providing drilling and environmental treatment services, as well as producing and trading chemicals. (April 8, 2010)
