Crude and oil products’ transactions must be registered in Russian trading exchange

Russia’s Prime Minister Vladimir Putin announced that all crude oil and petroleum product transactions in the country will have to be registered at the exchange. This decision is aimed to support the development of Russia’s trading exchange. Putin considers the formation of the self-regulating exchange committee to be necessary in providing market price monitoring.(February 10, 2011)
