Croda’s Humphrey retires as CEO
Mike Humphrey has announced his decision to retire as chief executive officer (CEO) of Croda International, the U.K. company whose chemicals are used in personal care products and lubricants, the Financial Times reported. Humphrey has worked for Croda for 42 years, spending the last 13 of them as CEO. He will step down at year-end, but will remain involved with Croda in a senior advisory capacity. Succeeding Humphrey is Steve Foots, who is currently in charge of Croda’s European business. (July 29,2011)
