Cosan to distribute S-Oil’s Group III base oils in Brazil

Brazil’s Cosan Lubrificantes e Especialidades, which is part of the Cosan Group, announced that it has reached an agreement with Korea’s S-Oil, one of the world’s largest suppliers of Group III base oils (G-III). The agreement provides for the marketing and representation of the mark Ultra-S base oils G-III in Brazil.
With the new partnership, Cosan will complement its current offering of Group I and Group II base oils, with Group III base oils. The company said that original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) are increasingly demanding “high-tech lubricants and superior performance.”
