CNPC expands oil retail business
China National Petroleum Corp. (CNPC) said it is adjusting its sales strategy by raising the proportion of its retail business to 70%, from 50%. Recently, the group required all of its gas stations to seek more potential clients, and a small amount of refined oil could be directly sent to the terminal companies that are located 20 kilometers around any gas station of CNPC. In addition to constructing more gas stations, CNPC is likely to supplement its refined oil distribution vehicles and mobile refueling vehicles (April 23, 2009)
