CNOOC to build 3 biodiesel plants in Indonesia
China’s third-largest offshore oil producer is planning on three new biodiesel plants in Indonesia this year. China National Oil Offshore Corp. (CNOOC) signed a memorandum of understanding with Jakarta for the investments in January. During the initial phase, CNOOC is teaming up with Hong Kong Energy and local company Sinar Mas Resources and Technology to build three biodiesel plants in West Kalimantan. (May 7, 2007)
