CNOOC gets export license for Huizhou refinery
China National Offshore Oil Corp. (CNOOC) has secured a government license to export oil products produced at its 12 million metric ton per year (MTPY) or 240,000 barrel per day (bpd) Huizhou refinery in southern Guangdong province. The license gives CNOOC an alternative outlet for refined fuels output as China’s domestic wholesale and retail oil products market remains in the tight grip of Sinopec and PetroChina.
