Chongqing refinery construction to be sooner than expected

The pending 10 million ton per year Chongqing Refinery will likely kick off construction ahead of schedule as the Sino-Myanmar crude pipeline has been planned to stretch to Chongqing, according to a report. The feasibility study on the Chongqing refinery has been submitted to related departments and construction is likely to be built ahead of schedule with crude supply from Myanmar almost in place, according to a source from Changshou Petrochemical Industrial Park.
