China New Energy signs agreement with JEIC

China New Energy Ltd. (CNE) announced that it had entered into an agreement of intent with China’s state-owned ethanol producer, Jilin Ethanol Industrial Company Ltd. (JEIC). The agreement calls for the conversion of an existing plant into a more efficient and advanced facility. CNE is a provider of technology for bioethanol and biobutanol projects. (April 30, 2012)
