China Integrated Energy begins construction

China Integrated Energy has begun construction of a new biodiesel production facility adjacent to its existing biodiesel plant in Tongchuan city, Shaanxi province. The new production facility is expected to add 50,000 tons to the company’s annual biodiesel production capacity, which will bring total capacity to 150,000 tons once this new plant is on stream. Gao Xincheng, chief executive officer of China Integrated Energy, expressed optimism that the increased capacity will be rapidly absorbed by the Chinese market. (November 19, 2009)
