China Clean Energy acquires Handan Guanxin Technology

China Clean Energy, Inc. has acquired a 100% stake in Handan Guanxin Technology for US$13.1 million in cash. China Clean Energy manufactures biodiesel and renewable chemicals from renewable resources. The acquisition, which took effect in mid-November, will help China Clean Energy lessen feedstock supply risk and will allow the company to save costs and operate more efficiently. (November 18, 2011)
