Chevron (Thailand) gets new country chairman

Chevron (Thailand) has announced the appointment of Salman Saadat as country chairman and general manager for products effective August 1.
Saadat, who holds a master’s degree in business administration from the Institute of Business Administration in Karachi, Pakistan, joined Caltex in 1990 as the zone manager/marketing specialist and has held positions of increasing responsibility in marketing and lubricants in numerous countries. He has more than 20 years of experience in the area of marketing and profit-and-loss management across multiple businesses and geographies.
He comes to Thailand from his former position as Chevron’s area business manager for the Asia-Pacific region. As area business manager for the Asia Pacific Cluster Countries from July 2010 until this appointment, he managed Chevron’s lubricants business in Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam, Australia and New Zealand.
