Chevron Malaysia aims to have 450 Caltex stations in 2009

Chevron Malaysia Ltd., owner and operator of the Caltex network of petrol stations in Malaysia, is aiming to have 450 Caltex outlets next year from its current number of 420. “We are always looking for opportunities to expand our network here,” its Malaysia and Cambodia manager for policy, government and public affairs, Mokhtar Ali Ismail said. He said the cost to set up one station ranged from RM1 million (US$281,090) to RM5 million (US$1.4 million), depending on the location and size. (December 19, 2008)
