Chevron introduces new premium hydraulic oils

Chevron Lubricants, makers of technologically advanced engine oils, lubricants and coolants, introduced three new premium hydraulic oils: Clarity® Synthetic Hydraulic Oil AW, Rando® HDZ and Rando® HD Premium Oil MV. The new lubricants offer multi viscosity or high viscosity index (VI) formulations. Compared to conventional monogrades, Chevron’s new lubricants deliver fuel cost savings and increases in productivity. Unlike conventional monogrades, the new premium hydraulic oils have improved oxidation and shear stability, making it possible to deliver robust protection to hydraulic pumps.
Clarity Synthetic Hydraulic Oil AW (ISO 32, 46, 68), provides excellent performance in low temperature climate. The lubricant is designed to give maximum protection to both mobile and stationary vane-, piston-, and gear-type hydraulic pumps in high-performance applications, and in environmentally-sensitive areas.
Rando HDZ oils (ISO 15, 22, 32, 46, 68, 100) are antiwear hydraulic oils. They are formulated with premium base oil technology which protects hydraulic pumps against wear, rust and corrosion. Rando HDZ oils are recommended for hydraulic or circulating oil systems, such as marine on-deck machinery, hydraulic actuated loading bins, and other equipment that require a wider operating temperature.
