Chevron aims to boost outlets to 450 in Malaysia
Chevron Malaysia Ltd., owner and operator of the Caltex network of petrol stations in Malaysia, is aiming to have 450 Caltex outlets by 2009, from its current number of 420. “We are always looking for opportunities to expand our network here,” said Malaysia and Cambodia Manager for policy, government and public affairs Mokhtar Ali Ismail. He noted that the cost to set up one station ranged from one million ringgit (US$281,090) to five million ringgit (US$1.4 million), depending on the location and size. (December 19, 2008)
