Chen named CFO at China Clean Energy

China Clean Energy Inc., a producer of biodiesel fuel and specialty-chemical products in The People’s Republic of China, has appointed William Chen as the company’s chief financial officer (CFO), effective February 1, 2010. Chen will replace Shannon Yan, who resigned on January 31, 2010 to pursue other career opportunities. Chen joined China Clean Energy as the vice president of investor relations on December 3, 2009. Prior to that, he worked as a financial analyst at Wealth Transition Planning LLC, a financial services firm in New York. From January to April 2009, he was the director assistant at EKN Financial Service, New York. China Clean Energy, through its wholly-owned subsidiaries, Fujian Zhongde Technology Co., Ltd. and Fujian Zhongde Energy Co., Ltd, is engaged in the development, manufacturing, and distribution of biodiesel and specialty chemical products from renewable resources.
