Chemtura to begin production of liquid antioxidant

U.S. specialty chemical firm Chemtura Corp. plans to kick off operations of a new production line for its Naugalube 403 liquid antioxidant at its plant in Rio Claro, in Brazil’s Sao Paulo state, by the end of 2010. Both products supply the European biofuels market, the world’s fastest-growing biofuels market. According to Global Market Manager Naureen Stone, their facility in Brazil will position Chemtura to be a leading supplier of liquid antioxidants to producers of biofuels in Brazil and Argentina, the next fastest growing global market.
