Cambodia imports 830,900 tons of oil products from Vietnam

In 2010, Cambodia was Vietnam’s top buyer of petroleum products at 830,900 tons worth US$570 million. China came in second with imports of 556,007 in petroleum products valued at US$391.32 million, which is an increase of 172.9% in volume and 231.2% in value, according to the Ministry of Industry and Trade. Singapore and South Korea followed with respective figures of 151,023 tons worth US$100.33 million and 63,979 tons valued at US$43.6 million. Meanwhile, Vietnam spent US$1.3 billion importing nearly 2 million tons of petroleum products last year, up 33.9% from 2009 in value and 1.4% in volume. (February 25, 2011)
