Caltex launches new marketing campaign “enjoy the journey”
Caltex, Chevron Philippines’ petroleum brand, is celebrating its 75th year in 2011 and has marked the occasion with a new marketing campaign called, “enjoy the journey.” Chevron Philippines’ global brand manager, Brian Fisher said the new tag-line positions Caltex as the brand that understands motorists and works hard to provide good fuel, services and stations to make their customers journey more enjoyable. “Asia-Pacific is one of Chevron’s strategic markets and the Philippines, in particular, is at the center of this market and we’re looking at a bright future here,” he said. The new marketing campaign is being launched through major publications and television ads. In conjunction with the new ad campaign, the company is offering a redesigned look to their service stations that are brighter, safer and more contemporary. Jim Meynink, CPI country chairman said, “These changes reflect Caltex’s confidence in our partners. They are designed to increase our efficiency and cement our presence here in the Philippines.” (July 16, 2011)
