Bunge India announces acquisition of edible oils and fats business of Amrit

Bunge India Private Limited announced that it has completed the acquisition of the edible oils and fats business of Amrit Banaspati Company Limited as well as the rights to Gagan, the vanaspati (vegetarian) brand owned by Amrit Corp. Limited. Bunge India Private Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of Bunge Limited, a company which originates, refines and distributes a wide range of edible fats and oils to food manufacturers and food service firms in India.
