Boeing expects to make breakthrough in China

Boeing expects to make a breakthrough in cooperation with China in the fields of new aviation technology, biofuel and customer service. Boeing is in talks with relevant institutions and organizations on the development, production and application of biofuel technology for the aviation industry. According to the memorandum of understanding signed by Boeing and the Chinese Academy of Sciences in late 2009, the two sides will launch a series of cooperative programs on energy and the environment, materials, wireless technology, etc. Boeing projects that China will need 3,770 new commercial airplanes worth US$400 billion over the next 20 years.
