BN Bankapur has assumed charge as Director (Refineries) of Indian Oil Corp. He took over from Jaspal Singh who retired recently. Bankapur was executive director (Operations) at the company’s Refineries division headquarters before assuming knowledge_base directorship. A chemical engineer by profession, Bankapur started his career with Indian Oil more than three decades ago. He has handled various portfolios in different refineries and at the divisional headquarters. (October 3, 2006)
