Bangchak to expand coffee shop business
Thailand’s Bangchak Petroleum Plc (BCP) said it will expand its coffee business with an investment of approximately 300 million baht (US$9.9 million) to triple its Inthanin coffee shops from 130 shops to 400 by 2015. In 2011, BCP opened five new coffee shops outside its service stations. The company is currently in discussion with shopping malls and universities to open additional coffee shops. Green Net Co., a wholly owned subsidiary, has been created by BCP to manage the coffee business on a nationwide basis. (March 10,2011)
