Bangchak asks Thai govt. to extend diesel subsidy

Bangchak Petroleum President Anusorn Sangnimnuan expressed support for the government’s decision to extend the subsidy for diesel fuel, but he asked that the government extend the subsidy till the end of March. The Thai government extended the granting of subsidies for diesel fuel until the end of February, but Bangchak Petroleum is asking for another month’s extension to help consumers cope with rising energy costs brought about by the floods and rising fuel prices in the world market.
