Atikom tipped as new IRPC president

IRPC’s board of directors will likely appoint Atikom Terbsiri, senior executive vice president for corporate strategy and planning, as the company’s new president after Pailin Chuchottaworn left to become PTT’s president and chief executive officer, The Nation reported. Pailin was appointed by the PTT board in May, to succeed Prasert Bunsumpun who retired last September. Many top executive positions in PTT also saw changes that were implemented on October 1. Nattachart Charuchinda became the company’s chief operating officer of the downstream petrochemical business. Wichai Pornkeratiwat, senior executive vice president of PTT’s gas business unit, has stepped up to be chief operating officer of upstream petrochemical and natural gas. Supattanapong Punmeechaow, an executive vice president, replaced Nattachart as executive vice president for corporate strategy, and EVP Peerapong Achariyacheevin became EVP for the gas business unit, succeeding Wichai.
