ARMM to invest in biomass power project
The Philippines’ Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM), a government utility, announced to invest in biomass power project. The company is seeking permission with the national government for the using the Php300 million (US$6.46 million) savings it made from the ARMM Social Fund for the project. The plant is expected to produce about 2,000 liters of biodiesel an hour. (July 16, 2010)
