AquaCarotene sells biodiesel project to Aurora Biofuels

AquaCarotene Ltd., an Australian producer of organically certified dry marine algae, has agreed to sell its business plan for the production of biodiesel at its algae ponds in Karratha, western Australia, to U.S.-based Aurora Biofuels for A$2 million (US$1.76 million), PerthNow reported. Aurora will start a pilot project at Karratha, with the construction of a full facility projected to happen by 2012. The full project is expected to be operational by 2013. (December 23, 2009)
