AJGH to build waste-to-fuel plant in XiangZhou
Approval has been received by American Jianye Greentech Holdings Ltd (AJGH) to build a waste-to-fuel plant which will convert municipal solid waste, sewage sludge, and construction waste to ethanol fuel. The plant which has been approved by the XiangZhou government is expected to produce 200,000 metric tons of alcohol-based ethanol per year. AJGH is undertaking the plant construction with the American company GeneSyst in a joint venture. The plant will be completed in 2012 and will begin commercial operations in early 2013. The new plant is expected to generate revenues of US$120 million per year and net income of US$30 million. Haipeng Wang, chairman and president of AJGH states, “We are very excited to partner with GenerSyst International in constructing this state-of-the-art waste-to-fuel plant in XiangZhou.
