Achates Power announces new benchmark set by its power opposed piston engine

Achates Power recently announced the results of it highest engine efficiency test. Achates Power develops radically improved, low cost internal combustion engines that increase fuel efficiency and reduces greenhouse emissions. Test results show that compared to an award winning, state of the art four stroke diesel engine that was recently introduced to the market, Achates’ power-opposed piston engine showed a 20% improvement in fuel efficiency.
