ABG signs JV with ArcLight

Australian Biodiesel Group has signed a A$130.5 million (US$100 million) joint venture agreement with ArcLight Capital Partners LLC to assess and develop biodiesel manufacturing facilities in North America. The company’s ABG USA Ltd. subsidiary and the American private equity firm, which focuses exclusively on the energy industry, will each contribute up to US$50 million to the joint venture, which will assess two biodiesel manufacturing facilities in North America with an annual capacity of 160 million liters each.
