John Hogg acquires Avocet to boost speciality dyes portfolio

John Hogg Technical Solutions Limited, a leading speciality chemical manufacturer, has acquired Avocet Dye and Chemical Company Limited, a renowned producer of textile flame retardants, dyes, and high-performance auxiliaries. 

This strategic move, announced on 18 November 2024, strengthens John Hogg’s position in the speciality dye and chemical sector by incorporating Avocet’s innovative technologies, including the well-known CETAFLAM® brand. 

CEO Philip Double emphasised that the acquisition aligns with John Hogg’s commitment to growth and innovation, enhancing its product range and market presence.
