HCS Group and Neste to form an extensive partnership for renewable distillates
The HCS Group (Haltermann Carless Solutions), a leading global manufacturer of high-quality hydrocarbon and chemical specialty products, and Finland’s Neste, the world’s leading producer of premium-quality renewable fuels, are establishing a preferred partnership for renewable distillate products.
Using its patented NEXBTL technology, Neste will supply Haltermann Carless with renewable components, which will be further processed into new, customised bio-products for various industrial applications. Renewable distillates can be used in various applications such as metalworking fluids, paints, coatings, printing inks, lubricants, water treatment, detergents, hydraulics, and cosmetics.
“The HCS Group considers chemical products based on renewable feedstocks as a key enabler for true sustainability. Bio-based solutions originating from renewable distillates powerfully solve existing and upcoming challenges that the chemical industry is facing. We are excited to be expanding our solutions portfolio in collaboration with a dedicated partner like Neste,” says Uwe Nickel, CEO of the HCS Group.
The HCS Group is organised with an executive committee overseeing seven business lines: Automotive Products, Middle Distillates, Oil & Gas Products, Pentanes, Performance Fuels, Performance Solvents and Speciality Aromatics. Headquartered in Frankfurt, Germany, HCS Group belongs to H.I.G. Europe, a subsidiary of the U.S. private equity company, H.I.G. Capital.
