In this strategic role, Singh will oversee Gulf Oil’s B2C channel expansion, drive route-to-market (RTM) optimisation, and lead digital integration efforts to boost sales performance. His appointment comes at a key moment as the company seeks to evolve its marketing ecosystem to align with India’s growing automotive and industrial sectors.

“His deep expertise in channel sales, sales transformation, and digital integration aligns perfectly with our vision of strengthening our go-to-market strategy,” said Ravi Chawla, managing director and CEO of Gulf Oil Lubricants India Ltd. “Biresh’s leadership will play a crucial role in expanding our channel footprint and driving sustainable business growth.”

Singh has an extensive track record of leading large-scale RTM transformation projects, often collaborating with top consulting firms to develop and implement future-ready sales models centred on digital adoption and operational efficiency. He has successfully managed business units with revenues exceeding INR 1,000 crore (USD 117 million).

“I am thrilled to join Gulf at such a pivotal moment as the brand reshapes its marketing approach and leads the way in product innovation with customers at the core,” Singh commented. “I look forward to leveraging my experience in sales transformation, digital adoption, and strategic execution to enhance Gulf Oil’s market reach and deepen customer engagement.”

Singh holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and has completed the Management Development Programme (MDP) at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. He is also an alumnus of BP’s prestigious Career Accelerator Programme (CAPS).
