Gulf Oil India announces strategic partnership with ElectreeFi
Gulf Oil India, a leading lubricant manufacturing and marketing company in India, announced a strategic partnership with Techperspect Software Pvt Ltd (ElectreeFi), a leading e-mobility solutions (SaaS) company in India. This strategic investment and partnership is the second move by Gulf Oil in the EV mobility value chain after the company invested in UK-based Indra Renewables in 2021. Indra Renewables manufactures smart chargers for the car segment.
Techperspect, well known for its Brand ElectreeFi, is primarily a SaaS provider with expertise in implementation of IoT based e-mobility solutions. They have created IoT-based e-mobility technology platforms that have various components and offerings for both businesses and end customers in the electric vehicle (EV) segment, in association with leading stakeholders in India, including OEMs, EV charging network providers and EV-battery related companies.
A strategic investment in this partnership will ensure that Gulf Oil and ElectreeFi can work together to develop solutions leveraging their strengths and play a future role in the fast changing e-mobility space for two-, three- and four-wheelers.
Gulf Oil to provide infrastructural support to ElectreeFi and back the startup to connect with Industry and its vast distribution network. Gulf Oil has already initiated a trial run for its smart sockets along with theElectreeFi app with its touchpoints for branded charging networks.
Gulf Oil will leverage its global reach through Gulf Oil International to provide direct access to ElectreeFi in the global market. A member of the Hinduja Group, Gulf Oil will leverage its ties with the Hinduja Group companies including Switch Mobility, Ashok Leyland, and OHM Global Mobility, in further promoting ElectreeFi in the fast-growing Southeast Asia markets .
