GS Caltex India appoints Vijay Savant as CEO

GS Caltex India has announced the appointment of Vijay Savant as its new chief executive officer (CEO) and managing director (MD), effective August 2024. Savant, succeeding Rajesh Nagar, brings a wealth of experience from his previous role as global project development director at LG Chem.

With a background in economics and marketing, Savant has spent 25 years in the industry, holding significant positions at notable companies such as Reliance Industries, BP, and LG Chem. His appointment marks a strategic move for GS Caltex India as the company seeks to explore new market segments and enhance its service offerings.

In his inaugural address, Savant expressed his enthusiasm for his new role. “I am deeply honoured to step into the role of CEO and MD at GS Caltex India.
