Groupe Renault and BP deepen partnership

BP and Castrol are extending their partnership with the Renault F1 Team through 2024. The partnership provides fuels, engine oils, gear oils, hydraulic oils, lubricating greases, and brake fluids, as well as high-performance lubricants. BP and Castrol have supported Renault’s team as they transition towards the new Formula 1 regulations in 2021.

A new Renault Castrol jointly branded product range will be sold to Renault dealers with a focus on high performance and reduced emissions.

“We are tremendously proud to announce this significant strengthening of our relationship with BP and Castrol after laying strong and stable foundations together in 2017. BP and Castrol are at the cutting edge in their respective fields and a partnership of this scope, breadth, and duration highlights the intents and goals of both parties,” said Jérôme Stoll, president of Renault Sport Racing.

BP and Castrol are the official fuel and lubricant provider for the Renault Sport Formula One Team. Castrol also supplies lubricants to the team’s Enstone technical centre and Renault Sport Racing’s Viry-Châtillon engine operations base.
