Gazpromneft-Lubricants to develop lubricants for BelAZ
Russia’s Gazpromneft-Lubricants has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with JSC BelAZ, a major global manufacturer of heavy-duty and super-size mining dump trucks, as well as other heavy vehicles used in mining and construction, headquartered in the Minsk region, Belarus.
The key areas of collaboration under the agreement include the supply of lubricants to the BelAZ dealership network; cooperation in R&D; and the development of new lubricants applicable to the operating conditions under which BelAZ technology and equipment is subjected to. Both companies are also committed to producing and retailing BelAZ G-Profi lubricants in 2016.
“BelAZ is one of the world’s most important producers of haulage, earth-moving and other heavy-duty transportation equipment for the mining industry. Ensuring the full reliability of BelAZ parts and components is of overriding importance to us as a manufacturer – and something that is essentially dependent on the quality of the lubricants we use,” said Sergey Lesin, deputy marketing director, BelAZ Technical Centre.
“Together with BelAZ were are planning major work in R&D, the result of which will be a new range of lubricants – BelAZ G-Profi – intended for use in servicing BelAZ technology and equipment in various countries worldwide.
