FUCHS Group acquires Boss Lubricants to expand global reach

The FUCHS Group, a global leader in the lubricants industry, has announced the acquisition of Boss Lubricants GmbH & Co. KG, a family-run company based in Albstadt, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. This strategic move, finalised on 9 January 2025, strengthens FUCHS’ specialty lubricants business and positions the company to seize new growth opportunities in international markets.

Boss Lubricants, established in 2003, specialises in process fluids and lubricants for industries including medical technology, safety technology, and mechanical engineering. With annual sales of EUR7 million (USD7.1 million) in 2023, the company will continue operations from its Albstadt site under the leadership of Rainer Gunsch-Boss, the current owner and managing director.
