FUCHS and DuPont partner to enhance energy storage solutions
FUCHS and DuPont have signed a memorandum of understanding to collaborate on advancing energy storage solutions in China. This partnership aims to leverage the strengths of both companies to create greater value for customers and drive the rapid growth of China’s energy storage industry.
Xing Qiang, global marketing director of DuPont Adhesives and Brake Fluids, highlighted the significant opportunities presented by China’s burgeoning new energy sector. “The rapid development of China’s new energy industry has brought unprecedented opportunities to energy storage. By working more closely with FUCHS, DuPont hopes to seize these opportunities and leverage the expertise of both companies to create greater value for energy storage customers and the industry chain, with sustainability in mind,” said Qiang.
Wang Shu, VP, Immersion Cooling Business at FUCHS China, said: “As an important part of China’s energy reform, the energy storage industry plays a key role in all aspects of the energy sector. As the industry advances rapidly today, energy storage technologies are constantly being iterated and upgraded. FUCHS hopes to work with DuPont, a company with strong technical capabilities in the industry, to promote advanced technologies and introduce safer, more efficient, reliable and durable products for Chinese users to help drive the country’s energy reform and move towards carbon neutrality.”
Both FUCHS and DuPont have more than 30 years of extensive experience in the Chinese market and have been instrumental in contributing to major market trends. The growing demand for electric vehicles (EVs) in China has underscored the need to enhance the performance and efficiency of automotive batteries, particularly through improved battery thermal management systems.
Combining FUCHS’ immersion cooling solutions with DuPont’s portfolio of adhesives, sealants, and battery solutions will ensure the efficiency and safety of EVs. This partnership is set to drive advancements in EV mobility and expand into the broader energy storage market, paving the way for future innovations.
