Germany’s FUCHS Group, the largest independent lubricant manufacturer in the world, has acquired the lubricants business of LUBASYST, a long-standing trading partner of FUCHS in Romania.

The acquisition, which takes effect December 1, 2017, includes its customer base and workforce. LUBASYST generated EUR 4 million (USD 4.67 million) in sales revenues last year. LUBASYST’s business will supplement FUCHS’ existing business in Romania and will be combined under a new subsidiary, FUCHS Romania.
