What Should Chinese Foundry Do Under the Current Political and Economic Situation
3rd China Casting Exporting and Technology Conference 2017 and 20th Global Foundry Sourcing Conference 2017 was successfully held in Shanghai during March 21-22, 2017. The conference is organized by Suppliers China Co., Ltd., co-organized by National Technical Committee 54 on Foundry of Standardization Administration of China, and supported by Elkem Foundry (China) Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Wanfeng Technology Development Co., Ltd. and PSB Engineering (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. The purpose of the conference is to set up an exchange platform for purchasing, market analysis and technical research. It attracted more than 600 participants at home and abroad. 3.21 Morning   3rd China Casting Exporting Conference 2017
As we all know, the factors that restricting the export of Chinese castings, not only including quality, price, delivery, but also the risk under the environmental policy. Since last year, the implementation of environmental policy has caused many foundries to stop or limit production, which seriously affected the normal production and delivery.
Facing the current situation, we are lucky to invite senior purchasing manager – Mr. Zhang Lixin from Denmark AVK company to analyze What Should the Chinese Foundry Do Under the Current Political and Economic Situation. Mr. Rene analyzed the trend and product profit of global automotive market and high-ends castings in recent years forecasting the development situation of global automotive and high-end castings market from 2017 to 2025, and give suggestions to auto casting enterprises.

Mr. Xu from Shanghai Shen Mo Computer System Integration Co., Ltd. introduced the Application of Integrated Casting and Forging Simulation Technology Based on THERCAST and FORGE. Mr. Andy Plowman from Elkem Foundry (China) Co., Ltd. analyzed the Common Metallurgical Defects of Gray Iron and Ductile Iron. Ms. Su from PSB Engineering (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. (FLOW-3D) showed us how to Use FLOW-3D Cast to Solve Casting Oxide Slag Problem. Mr. Wang from Foundry Journal Agency introduced the Foundry Journal for participants. Mr. Kuang from Zhengzhou Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering Metal Casting Department introduced the Application of RockPad Technology in the Grinding Roller and Table of Medium Speed Coal Pulverizer. Mr. Huang from Exone introduced 3D Printed Sand Casting Core/Mold. Mr. Li from Xuzhou Feiyun Foam Manufacturing Co., Ltd. discussed the Theory of Lost Foam Template with participants. At the end, organizer—Suppliers China Co., Ltd. showed casting suppliers how to use Foundry. Cn.

3.22 Â Â 20th Global Foundry Sourcing Conference 2017Â
The conference attracted more than 60 multinational purchasing companies, such as Mercedes Benz, Caterpillar, Stanley, Xylem, Wartsila, TMD, ZF, CRH, SKF, NOV, KSB, etc. Siemens, EQI and Meritor made purchasing reports on the conference. More than 200 domestic and foreign casting enterprises participated in the conference, and some suppliers displayed their casting samples. Zhejiang Wanfeng Technology Development Co., Ltd., Dongfeng Automobile Co., Ltd. Foundry Branch and Shenyang Machine Tool YINFENG Foundry Co., Ltd. made product promotions and introduced their main products, software and hardware strength.
The negotiation time in the afternoon was purchaser-focused. Each buyer was offered a negotiation table to face-to-face talk with suppliers. The negotiation area is separated into ferrous metal area and non-ferrous metal area. FSC started business-matching service three months before the conference, which saved time for suppliers and buyers during conference. Finally, the conference won high praise from customers.
Our publication: China’s Casting Guide, is Chinese & English bilingual edition. It’s well praised by casting buyers at home and abroad. According to buyer’s requirements, FSC will upload the completed suppliers’ information to the online platform–Foundry. Cn, so buyers can browse suppliers’ information online.
