The Combustion Institute appoints Infineum Senior Engineer Cecile Pera

Cecile Pera, Senior Engineer, Engine and Combustion Specialist at Infineum has been appointed as Associate Editor of The Combustion Institute’s peer-reviewed journal Proceedings of the Combustion Institute.

The Combustion Institute is an international non-for-profit, scientific and educational organisation, which aims to promote and disseminate combustion research. Fundamental and applied scientific disciplines contribute to this research which has strong ties to technical and industrial processes.

The Combustion Institute is considered the leading authority in its field, hosting a biennial international congress and featuring industry-leading contributions in fundamentals and applications of combustion science in its journal.

In her role, Cecile will provide expert review for the journal and will participate in The Combustion Institute’s activity globally.

“It is not common for someone in the automotive industry to be brought into this role” commented Cecile.

“I look forward to being able to offer the Institute practical insights from my role at Infineum and active participation in the engine-combustion field.”
